Photography that's head and shoulders above the rest
Above The County Series – Millennium Point
We just love creating wonderful photographs at Polepics! Prince Edward County is a haven for artists, and people who come to enjoy charming rural views and some of Canada’s best cultural entertainment. On the way home from a successful house shoot we stopped of at a local viewpoint known as “Millennium Point.” In itself it offers a pretty good view of the Town of Picton, which sits quietly at the end of Picton Bay. We were really keen to give it ‘The PolePics’ treatment, see if we could ”Show off it’s best Angle!” as the sun started to dip.
If your wondering what it looks like from the ground, here is one from the ‘family album’ taken last summer – we thought it was pretty good – until last night!
We’ve had a few folks asking us if these images will print out, I mean the internet is a great image leveller! Well we thought we’ll give it a go with a square crop. Woooooooow is all we could say – The benefits of using one of the worlds best dSLR cameras and lens really comes into its own, and combined with a creative touch back in the studio we think the results are, well that up to others to decide! But, we think, this image will certainly be part of Polepics Founder, Steven Draper’s, summer exhibition work!
And to prove that this will print out at a pretty good size, here is a 100% crop from the centre of the image.
