Our aim at polepics is to create images that put you at the centre of attention. But for a few moments our advanced pole camera system has put us at the centre on attention. In fact a double page spread in a newspaper that targets our potential clients in the construction industry.

For the article we were given a real challenge, to shoot the new control tower at CFB Trenton. It’s 29m to the top, which in everyday buildings equates to seven stories. That’s pretty high for rural Ontario! Despite a gusty wind the pole performed amazingly, in-fact we still had about 10′ of elevation in hand. The ability to see the images live on our computer screen as we planned to compose the shot and zoomed in to capture all the detail from a completely unique angle.

Following the article our polepics phone has become a bit hot and already this week we’ve packed in 5 commercial shoots, carried out some lighting assessments for future projects and have some very interesting enquires to follow up. Our first real estate images have appeared in the newspaper and MLS listings too. So we’d like to say a very big thank you to Catherine Stutt at Construction Matters for producing the article.
