Winter Olympics – 1
It’s Winter Olympics time here in Canada and a perfect opportunity to review the images that make up my collection that documents the Olympic Torch Relay’s visit to Picton on December 15th. During the event I’ll be posting images every couple of days for you to enjoy.
Primarily I was using the mast system, but decided that some support images were required from the ground. Having full media accreditation provided access right up to the stage area. While I did not carry the torch, for a few moments at least during the event, I was certainly the closest person in the world to the Olympic Flame!
Photographing the event as “The Official” photographer for “The Municipality” was an honour and the full collection includes just over 20 images. For details on using the image files or prints, please contact Polepics.
