Photography that's head and shoulders above the rest
Real Estate Season Begins
The snow is all gone, the birds are singing and the grass is starting to show signs that Spring is coming. For those involved in Real Estate it also means getting ready for what is traditionally a peak time during mid / late spring. April and May are, for many properties, the perfect time to be photographed using the polepics system, especially those with trees close to them. OK we sneaked this in during March, but it sure felt like Spring.
During the week, a request from Picton Remax Realtor Jim Wait came through to the Polepics iphone to photograph an absolutely stunning property just South of West lake. The Country estate, 2 miles to Sandbanks Provincial Park, sits in 34 acres has never been offered for sale before, having been built by the current owners. Information provided by the Jim, along with a review of available satellite images allowed the best time of day to be worked out, and also potential camera locations to be calculated.
On Saturday the weather looked great and the shoot was undertaken in around about 1 hour – thanks to the planning – and included a couple of angles to suit the marketing brief. I probably would have finished the assignment slightly quicker had I not began to really study the amazing detail on the master files during processing – birds in the trees, twigs on the branches, bird feeders… Its a pitty the screen resolution has to reduce things so much here, although bigger files will be loaded to the new Polepics Gallery site very soon. Of course you could give Jim a call and turn a dream into reality, but that’s your call!
A number of polepics projects are planned this week, so keep a look out and give us a wave – HiHo
