The ‘Polepics  angle‘ is a powerful way to promote your business and capture the eye of your market, or undertake a traditional task in an alternative and cost saving manner. It’s the view I’ve climbed up things all my life to experience, the view that provides the best angle of the world around us, the view that opens our imaginations.

But in the absence of another building or convenient hill, it’s a very difficult angle to photograph from. Step ladders are not high enough, and it’s general not possible or desirable to fly a helicopter or airplane that low. High Lift platforms are very expensive to hire and many other camera platforms such as kites, blimps and radio controlled helicopters can only carry very lightweight camera systems reducing potential quality.

The system I have developed in conjunction with Ontario Mast manufacturer Luksa, provides a highly efficient, safe and unobtrusive way of placing a top quality dSLR camera into  up to 70′  – more than suitable for 99% of ‘Polepics angle’ tasks. Not only is the platform stable, even in gentle winds, but as a very experienced photographer the computer control system I use enables full creative control over the camera functions – not to mention pan, tilt and zoom features. Being mounted to a 4×4 truck enables the mast to go to most places, quickly and efficiently. And for areas where the truck cannot go, we have a second portable mast that extends 46′.

When I set up Polepics I wanted it to be more than just another photo business. I wanted it to be an extension of all the qualities I feel passionate about, things like honesty, reliability, product quality and fairness.
