A personal Message from Steven :

Of all the worlds great disasters I’m sure the story of the Titanic is one of the most well known. People agree that more life boats would have saved more lives. But you know, if the crew had slowed down or stopped when they received the warning of iceburgs  they would have signifigantly reduced the chance of anyone needing any lifeboats at all, however many there were.

When it comes to our own environmentally responsibility,  at both a business and family level, we try hard to do the best we can, ensuring that my family and my business tries hard to give more to the world than it takes. We don’t go on about it because we think everyone should be doing as much as possible, not using the purchase of an LED lightbulb as the basis for an advertising campaign.

But when it comes to making green choices, I beleive that we need to think, are we, are our communities and our governments building more lifeboats, or are we actually tackling and resolving the causes that require the need for the lifeboats?

Thats why I’m going to make supporting the following campaign a priority over the coming months and years and do everything I can to ensure Polepics helps spread the word.
