Our ‘Pole-Position’ Package for realtors includes:

• Travel to locations within Prince Edward County and within 50 km of Belleville. (Ontario)
• Site evaluation and Polepics safety inspection.
• MLS or SLIDESHOW ready files - let us know.
• Access to private online gallery to enable you to download your files to your computer.
• Image use licence
• Free Print to show future clients how you’ll invest in marketing their property
• One Elevation that will normally provide a number of polepics images, normally including a ridge line, higher, close up and overview, neighbourhood or view. 

Images will be taken with suitable lighting conditions and delivered by online gallery. All images are digitally processed with minor corrections to adjust for perspective correction and minor retouching where allowed. 

In addition there are times when you may wish to add a few Upgrades:

• Additional Elevations - For more options, or to capture the pool or garden around the back!
• Best Lighting - Capture the magic of warm lighting and log shadows during the early morning or evenings.
• Priority Service - When you need it quick!
• 2nd Visit, When different lighting is needed from different angles.
• Seasonal upgrades, still showing the snow in Spring!!

Q Do I or the home owner need to be at the shoot.

A No, although it helps if there is someone around if cars need moving around, or we need access to certain areas of the property.

Q What camera do you use.

A Our image system is currently built around a computer tethered Nikon D700 and the Nikkor professional lens system. We process images on a MAC computer system using the very latest software.! 

Q Who takes the pictures?

A Polepics Founder and CEO operates the polepics system. He uses his award winning knowledge of photography, composition and understanding of light to provide photography that is head and shoulders above the rest.

Q Why a pole, what about a other aerial systems. 

A Polepics researched all the systems extensively. A top quality telescopic pole offers the most stable platform for a dSLR camera system in order to provide the best images in most circumstances at a sensible price point. Cherry Pickers can be limited in location or very expensive to hire or operate - increasing client cost. Radio Controlled helicopters can only carry small pocket cameras, generally require two people to operate and there can be safety issues in many locations. Blimps can only carry small loads, can be tricky to operate and expensive.

Q We’ve seen aerial images before from masts, kites and helicopters that are fuzzy or are only OK on the web. Is polepics any different?

A Because we use a professional dSLR camera, professional lens and a very high quality mast,  in most circumstances our images can make jaw dropping 19×13 prints. We can also stitch images together to make even bigger prints.

Q Do you ever photograph from an aeroplane / helicopter?

A Yes, in order to show off the best angle we like to use the right tool. For some properties an aeroplane or helicopter may provide the best angle.

Q What is perspective correction?

A Unless we are providing an overhead / overview shot, our aim is to provide walls that have vertical edges and don’t slope all over the place. 

Q Can you delete stuff that it would be best not to see?

A We can sometimes delete temporary items such as trash cans, pets and patch up grass. 

Q Can we shoot at night?

A We’d love to give it a try!

Q Do you offer discounts if we want to use Polepics a lot?

A It’s always great to get to know a realtor and provide images from several houses. Polepics prices are based on a sound business model and analysis of the costs involved in using the best cameras and the worlds best mast systems. However come back for more and we’ll look after you with some best lighting, or an additional angle  or two! 

Q Does Polepics require any information?

A It helps if you can give us an idea of when the lighting will be most suitable, generally morning, afternoon etc. or when  trees or other structures do not create complex shadows all over the property. If we have the property owners telephone number we can let them know we are coming! And Can we park on the grass if required (if not wet) 

Q Do you shoot internals?

A We can do this if required.

Q How long does it take?

A An actual shoot lasts anything from about an hour to as long as it takes. It all depends on how long it takes to get the shot!  We’re a personal, full time business passionate about getting great shots for our clients so that they’ll recommend us, or come back again and again. From getting in contact with us to having your files depends on the current demands for Polepics services,  the weather, factors such as if you need Best Light. Most realtors have ‘a DIY shot’ to get buy with and we prefer to provide something that is good rather than something that is rushed. However when speed is of the essence the Priority Service puts your job to the top of the Que.

Q What if the house sells after requesting but before I deliver.

A Let us know if your requirements change.

Q Can we use the pictures again in the future?

A The images are licensed for use by the realtor who requests them while selling the property and, at their discretion, in the future if they sell the property again. Use by another realtor is not permitted. We are developing a licence exchange system where - for a small admin fee (which will include a credit to the original realtors polepics account) another realtor can purchase the licence. 

Q Can Polepics photograph any property?

A Between our truck mounted mast and portable system, we’ve been pretty successful to date. However a combination of gradient, trees, power cables and photographing from the road can sometimes generate challenges. In the event that polepics is unable to photograph a property for any reason, we will let you know as soon as possible and there will be no charge. In the event that our photography options are limited then we will provide the best images we can. If you use them you pay, if not you don’t. 

Q We don’t see tons of Polepics advertising?

A Our business is growing very nicely as people see the results we’re delivering our clients. This helps keep our costs down.
