Someone once asked us, “Why would anyone ever want to put a perfectly good, high-end, Single Lens Reflex digital camera at the end of a 70 foot pole?” (OK, no one has ever actually asked this, but if they did, this is what we’d say.)

It’s not just for fun (although we love our work).

It’s not just to take exciting photographs.

It’s not even really to capture the subject from the most dramatic angle possible (although the view from atop a 70 foot pole can be mighty dramatic).
